The owners of the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel on Fellowship Road in Mount Laurel are scheduled to go before the zoning board on Wednesday for permission to convert the building into a continuing-care facility for senior citizens.
A four-story, 95,600-square-foot addition to the 204-room hotel building would yield a care facility that would have 214 independent-living beds, 55 assisted-living beds and 35 memory-care beds, according to plans from owner KPG Meadowlands LLC of Mount Laurel.
